Heritage Trails Around Rhondda Cynon Taf

Croeso!   Welcome!

We hope you will enjoy visiting this website which contains a host of information about the heritage of Rhondda Cynon Taf.

It is the result of a Heritage Lottery funded project to mark and celebrate the rich history of the area by adding a series of 30 Blue Plaques to mark notable people, places and events in the Borough.

These and other notable sites have been linked by a series of heritage walks in Pontypridd, Aberdare and Llantrisant and by Driving Trails around the Borough, all of which can be downloaded from this site.

Coming Soon!

We are currently recording audio trails which will be available to download from this site to an MP3 player or a Smartphone application. We are planning to have these available from Summer 2011.
